Class Experience

US Grade 3
🌟Welcome to the Story Explorers Book Club!🌟

In this weekly class, we will read a short story together and work through collaborative discussion questions.

Here is what our exploratory journey entails:

🔹📅Weekly Live Meetings: We will meet each week to learn together. Our meetings will include reading together and collaborative discussion questions.

🔹📝Optional Homework: Students will be given optional homework each week. This homework will build on the class content and reinforce our learning.

📖Each week, we will discover a new piece of literature, ranging from poetry to nonfiction and fiction. We will read together, allowing participants to immerse themselves in the world of storytelling and practice reading fluency.

🤔Then, we will work through discussion questions together examining vocabulary words, characters, themes, and settings of our stories. Our goal is to create a deeper understanding through collaborative discussion.

📝Finally, each student will have an optional creative writing assignment to complete for homework. Our homework will be based on our weekly story and reinforce our learning.

📚The materials that are used in this course are from Reading A to Z, and they are at the third grade level. (Levels Q-T, 660L-940L)
