Class Experience

In this ongoing class, students will analyze lyrics from a different Disney song each week. Music is poetry and Disney songs have tons of literary devices. Students will learn about figurative language, rhymes and rhyme schemes, personification, context clues, theme, and more! By analyzing the lyrics in-depth, students will gain a greater appreciation for music and songwriting in general, as well as strengthen their reading and writing skills.
