English Language Arts for Third Grade

In this ongoing course, we will learn and practice 3rd grade ELA skills. We will meet weekly and discuss topics that are covered in a third grade classroom. This will be done using power point, stories (Miss Nelson is Missing, Strega Nona) paper, pencil, provided worksheet, and classroom discussion. Students will get the opportunity to work as a group as well as independently. This course can serve as a review if your child is entering 4th grade next year, or as preparation if they are entering 3rd grade next school year. This course is not just limited to third grade students. I can't wait to see your child in my class!
