What will be taught: Students learn that in many sentences in their writings we don't want to repeat the same subject. Students learn to combine the sentences by using a conjunction, such as "and" or to create a compound predicate. Students learn when to combine two predicates, you don't need a comma. Students improve their writing skills combining sentences and learn how to use the correct verb tenses in their writing.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental guidance is helpful in case of technical difficulty or help for logging on to the zoom. Students do not need any expensive toys, furnishings or other items. They do need well designed space that is safe for the student to do activities/projects. Parental guidance is necessary incase student needs help with an activity with guidance. Such as gluing, cutting with scissors etc. There are no third party websites that will be used for each week for the lessons or signing in for accounts.
