What's included

25 mins in-class hours
Homework
1 hour per week. Students may view the class recording to practice the concepts that were covered in each class session. The teacher will also suggest vocabulary, sentences, and concepts to practice as homework between class sessions. The teacher will provide written feedback after every class.
Grading
The teacher will provide written feedback after EVERY class session to ensure that the learner has adequate information to know what he/she should practice during the week between class sessions.

Class Experience

Beginner Level
This is a one-time conversation-based ESL class. Students will practice answering the questions, [What's your name?]; [How are you?]; and [How old are you?] Students will also practice asking these questions. Students will engage in conversation with the teacher. Students will engage in conversation with the other students. The teacher will guide the students in speaking about hobbies, food, celebrations and holidays, shopping, and travel. The students will each have chances to read from an English reading passage. The students will answer questions about the reading passage. The students will learn a phonics rule. The students will read words that use the phonics rule.

Learning Needs
I am happy to individually tailor my interaction with your learner to support his or her unique learning needs. This includes using a slower speaking speed, gestures, waiting time, and pictures and concrete objects to assist.
Pre-Requisites
Learners in this class should be at a CEFR Level of A1 or higher.
