Class Experience

US Grade 2 - 5
This self-paced takes a thorough look into the 8 Parts of Speech (nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, and interjections). This class takes a visual approach to learning the 8 parts of speech as learners transform grammar concepts into visual aids via interactive grammar notebook pages. Students will practice writing and identifying words in sentences and engage in educational games for a fun and relaxed learning experience.

How does this self-paced class work?
The class is self-paced with no live meetings. A recording will be posted weekly to introduce the concept, simulating a classroom experience. Learners in flexible classes can pause, rewind, and review the lesson as needed, enhancing their understanding and retention of the material.

What is an interactive notebook?
An interactive notebook is a learner made notebook that visualizes grammar skills in charts, flip charts, graphics, and more! After class, the interactive becomes a resource that supports all language art curriculums.

Each lesson consists of:
(1) Interactive Notebook Page
(1) Video describing how to assemble the notebook page
(1) Video describing each part of speech
(4) Blooket game links to practice identifying and using the correct part of speech
