Learners will be challenged with brain games, literary devices, and grammar rules to complete each level while gathering clues for the final activity!
Class experience
Learners will have the opportunity to work together to solve brain games (think rebus, odd one outs, word ladders, and illusions), answer grammar rules (“Does that comma belong there?”), and learn new literary devices (first one to create a simile gets us to the next level) in this ‘collect the clues’ style class. Students will learn a specific grammar rule in each class. Students will learn a literary device and how to utilize it in writing/speech. Students will work on team building skills, working together, and strategizing.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
