What will be taught: Students learn how to correct the wrong verb in sentences. Students learn how to fix the sentences in correcting the verb. Students learn a present verb and its subject must agree in number. Students learn how the subject is singular, and use the singular form of the verb. Students will learn if the subject is plural, use the plural form of the verb. Students learn the rules of subject verb agreement. Students learn how to correct sentences using the rules of subject verb agreement. Students will learn to proofread a paragraph and correct the sentences. Students will have a writing activity and write using the rules we learned. How will the lesson be taught: Doc cam, Nearpod, slides, lecture, writing activity, discussion Some knowledge of verbs.

Students will improve their understanding of subject verb agreement in sentences and how to correct sentences using the rules of subject verb agreement.

Parental Guidance
Parental guidance is helpful in case of technical difficulty or help for logging on to the zoom. Students do not need any expensive toys, furnishings or other items. They do need well designed space that is safe for the student to do activities/projects. Parental guidance is necessary incase student needs help with an activity with guidance. Such as gluing, cutting with scissors etc. There are no third party websites that will be used for each week for the lessons or signing in for accounts.
