Beginner Level
Class Experience In this ongoing class, students will practice speaking basic English while singing songs and playing games. This is the perfect class for a student with some English knowledge that can read basic sentences, but not necessary for I will scaffold up or down to the level of the child. Please see each of the vocabulary words and sentences that will be used for each week. We will sing songs and learn through visuals, videos, repetition, games and movements. Using multiple strategies, students will be engaged making learning fun and more effective. In this class I will scale up or down depending on students levels, extending to get maximum student output. In this ongoing class we will use Young Learners Curriculum to practice our English speaking skills to talk about all of our favorite things! We will talk about school, home, toys, sports, jobs, places we visit, activities and other exciting topics. It takes longer to get through the material when there are multiple students. * This class is scheduled for ages 5-9, if the age gap gets to wide I will break the class into two classes and let parents know ahead of time.

Teacher Mandy has 20 years of teaching experience from preschool to grade eight and 8 years of experience teaching English as a Second Language. She has taught over 8,000 ESL classes and over 1,000 students. She has followed many students throughout their English learning journey, from beginning (non-speaking) to being able to have full conversations, and from a basic understanding through fluency. With Teacher Mandy’s patient guidance, some practice, and regular lessons, you can achieve whatever goal you set for your English learning journey.
Teacher Mandy has a Bachelor of Science in Education with advanced certifications with TEFL and TESOL. She can teach any student, from the youngest learners to students approaching adulthood, from beginners through fluent speakers.
Class is taught using a fully immersive atmosphere, helping students dive deeply into English right from the beginning. From beginning English speakers to those who have been learning English for many years, Teacher Mandy will help you gain the skills to speak like a native English speaker, one class at a time.
