English as a Second Language: You've Got This!

Students will taught individually and begin with an informal assessment to determine their approximate English level.  Depending on their level, needs, and goals, I will provide reading materials, phonics instruction if needed, comprehension questions, then practice conversation skills.  Conversation will be "free-talk" about the topic the student learned in class or an alternate topic.  The student will be evaluated based on listening, responding, pronunciation, grammar, and conversation.  A follow-up email will be provided after each class to summarize the material learned and student progress.
