Class Experience

In this relaxed and informal class, students will play dynamic English as second language games to help build their vocabulary skills and gain some experience listening and speaking in an immersive English environment.

This class doesn't involve playing video games. Instead, the focus is on interaction with the teacher and other students by playing more traditional games such as Vocabulary Bingo, Memory, I Spy, Simon Says, 20 questions, Taboo, Categories, Snowman, etc.

This class would be best suited to students with previous English exposure who would like to practice their skills in a more fun, informal learning environment.

I am a VIPKid teacher and currently teach ESL with Novakid, so I have lots of experience with ELL and am very patient with repeating myself and speaking slowly/clearly if needed.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! Thanks for stopping by!

Currently, I teach how to illustrate cheerful and cute seasonal illustrations using the Procreate application on the Ipad.

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Concordia University in Quebec and a Bachelor of (Elementary) Education from the University of British Columbia in BC. I have also taken many art classes throughout my life and have a certificate in Graphic Design from SAIT in Alberta. I am TESOL certified, and I've been teaching ESL to children online since 2016 and I love it.

As a teacher, my goal is to make learning engaging and give positive feedback and encouragement.

I adore cats, especially my two fur babies, Bella and Penny. I also have a cactus named Pickles. My favourite comic character as a kid was Garfield.
