Class Experience

US Grade 1 - 4
You're invited to play games with us and meet friends from around the globe! This class is positive, inclusive and fun. We will start with introductions and a basic explanation of our game. I will use TPR, realia, basic language, props and full sentences to encourage English learning. I will extend and teach vocabulary as time permits. Learners will follow instructions in English while playing. Students will read or repeat the words throughout class depending on their English proficiency. Casual conversation is encouraged when possible! This is a casual, fun class where we hang-out and study while playing games.

Game Schedule:
Week of September 5: Spin to Win
Week of September 12: Classroom Feud
Week of September 19: Disappearing Classmates
Week of September 26: Spin to Win

The games will change each week so learners remain engaged and excited to come to class. Let's have fun! Multiple levels of readers can play by guessing letters. If your child knows letters and letter sounds they're welcome to try this class. Advanced students read the clues and help with spelling while beginners guess letters listed on the screen. This is a great, fun study class for advanced students and recognition practise for beginner students.

Hi! I’m here and ready to teach your learner after spending several years studying and working with children. I completed my Bachelor of Arts and a Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management. I have been an ESL teacher for 3 years. When I started teaching English as a Second Language, I realized I found my dream job. It no longer felt like I was working! My job feels like a hobby. I absolutely love spending time with each learner. I started teaching with VIPKID then found the Outschool platform in 2020 and have loved being here ever since. My greatest reward is watching ESL students learn and grow in my classroom. My main experience comes from working in preschool’s and daycares for over 10 years. I’ve used that experience to teach ESL students how to read and communicate effectively. Thank you for trusting me to teach your child and supporting my career 💕
