Students will need a working webcam.  The teacher must be able to see the learner's mouth to assess pronunciation. You may choose to have the learner bring a picture or object they are excited to talk about to class.  This is optional and may be useful for some learners.  If you choose to have your learner bring something to class, please be aware that we may not be able to cover as much prepared content.  The teacher will be responsive to learner interests. 

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Please ensure that your learner's camera remains on throughout the lesson.  The teacher must be able to see the learner's mouth to aid with proper pronunciation.  For best progress, please make sure your learner is in an area that is quiet and free from distractions. This is an ongoing, subscription based class. The class fee for each week is charged on Sunday. To avoid being charged for the upcoming week, please stop the subscription before Sunday.   Students may come and go in ongoing classes. For your convenience, a link is provided with details on the ongoing class format.   A link is also provided for students to test Zoom. Testing Zoom and ensuring your learner knows how to use the classroom functions will help the learning experience go more smoothly.   When enrolling in this class, you are reserving a seat for your learner.  If your learner is more than 10 minutes late for class and no message has been received prior to the class start time, class will end.  If you are going to be late, please message the teacher in advance of the scheduled start time.  If a message is received in advance, the teacher will wait and teach the amount of class time that remains. For example, if your learner arrives 15 minutes late for a 25 minute class and you have messaged the teacher in advance, the teacher will teach the remaining 10 minutes of scheduled class time. Because you have reserved this time for your learner, this class follows the ongoing class refund policy. "Ongoing classes meet at least once weekly and are charged weekly as a subscription on Sunday mornings. The price that you see listed on the class page is for each week of the class. Outschool will bill you each week that you are enrolled in the class, but you can stop your subscription at any time. Parents receive a full refund of their most recent subscription payment if they stop their subscription within 24 hours of auto-renewal. Note that this condition does not apply if that week’s class meeting has already started."
