In this class, we will cover a lot of topics related to living and studying in an English speaking country. We will read short texts and analyze them for language elements. Also, we will watch short videos to improve students' listening skills. There will be plenty of discussions on various topics, which will help students improve their vocabulary and speaking skills. Students will write short paragraphs, which will help them improve their spelling, and writing in general. There will be 3 classes per week: a) focus on vocabulary and grammar, b) focus on reading and writing, and c) focus on listening and speaking. Here is a weekly breakdown of topics: Week 1 - At the restaurant Week 2 - Shopping Week 3 - Education Week 4 - Jobs Week 5 - Home Week 6 - Sports Week 7 - Medicine Week 8 - Food Week 9 - Animals Week 10 - Technology

I will provide all the necessary materials. However, students need to have a notebook and a pen.

I have been teaching English to native and nonnative speakers for over 20 years in the US and abroad. My approach is called "Focus-on-Form", which means my classes are very communicative and interactive in nature, but we still focus on grammar, pronunciation, or vocabulary. The most important aspect of my class for me is to provide a comfortable and enjoyable environment for the students and develop affection towards learning English in my students.
