Class Experience

Certified multiple subject teacher with more than 10 years of teaching and tutoring English as a second language (ESOL) and English language arts privately, in small groups, and whole class. The benefit of having a certified teacher as a tutor is the ability to differentiate lessons and strategies to help students learn at their own pace. Students will be encouraged to process English language arts concepts through a deeper lens that will improve their confidence in reading.

The main goal is help your learner be a strong reader and build their confidence in reading and writing.

Homework will be assigned depending on the learning goal for each session.

Students will take a reading diagnostic test to determine their strengths and areas of concern for each grade level standard. This information will be shared with the learner and parent.

2 hours 45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
