For one hour per session, I can offer your child help with homework for their English or history classes. I can also tutor to build proficiency. I am very patient, compassionate, and I will gladly offer assistance to any learners who are willing to put in the effort. I have strong reading and writing skills and content knowledge in various historical eras. I primarily study American History. Your child will bring with them any English or history homework they need help with from their regular teacher. If your child is a home schooler I will be glad to assist them in any area you feel they need improvement on, I will create a curriculum unique for them to ensure that all tutoring sessions will be individualized to your learner's individual needs. Some specific topics I can help with include: Essay writing Grammar Vocabulary Reading Comprehension Creative writing Primary source analysis Research paper writing Preparing slideshows Research and notetaking Documenting sources American Revolution history The Constitution Political Science Westward Expansion American Civil War 20th Century American History

At the associate’s level at Southern Maine Community College, I studied Criminal Justice and Psychology, this included learning to professionally diagnose a patient with a mental disorder. I have a bachelor's degree in Educational Studies from Grand Canyon University, and a masters degree in history also from Grand Canyon University.
