I have a Bachelor's of Art in English and a Master's of Education. I have taught English/Language Arts in the public school setting for 20 years. The last four years in the classroom I headed a program to help struggling students develop solid reading and writing skills needed to pass our state assessment required to graduate high school. Since leaving the public school setting, I have spent 8 years teaching English online to students in the United States and all over the world (China, Korea, South Africa, Australia, Canada, Brazil, Turkey, and many more). I have also been a professional proofreader and have freelanced as a ghostwriter for several academic researchers. I look forward to assisting your child be successful with their academic endeavors.

Homework Offered
No assigned homework for this course unless requested or needed to reach our goals. However, I will always keep in mind that the student has a very busy schedule and my assignments should enhance their efforts and not become a burden.

I have a degree in special education with specific studies in learning disabilities. I employee various techniques to provide a positive learning experience for learners to build their confidence, as well as, their knowledge.
