This class will cover Henry VIII and life in 1500's England. Weekly assignments (to include videos, lectures, discussion questions and worksheets) will be posted each Monday with assignments due on Friday. Students should expect to respond to one another's comments at least one time per week. Students do not need any pre-knowledge, but should have an interest in the Middle Ages. The instructor will give feedback about each homework assignment as well as suggestions for further learning if someone has an interest in learning more about a certain topic. We will occasionally watch short videos outside of class to enhance learning. Those will be shared via email several days before class. By the end of the class, the students will have a better idea of what life was like during this time period.
