Class Experience

Our goal is to introduce, practice, and keep our phonics sounds sharp. Phonic sounds create words, which create sentences, which create paragraphs, which all lead to ideas, thoughts, and expression.
I have been trained in the Orton-Gillingham Reading Program.
I have worked with students who have Dyslexia and ADHD.
I have taught for 14 years in the public school and for 4 years ESL online.
If the students could review the recording of the lesson and/or the notes they took, it would really support their success as the lessons will build on each other.
If you want your learner to write a word or two during our lesson, please have them bring paper/pencil or a white board/marker to class. Additionally, they can write on the screen during that specific part of the lesson.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
20 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
