In this 12 week flex class, we'll review and practice the phonic sounds, including sound practice, word and sentence reading.
Class experience
All classes are recorded. Students will watch videos of the lessons at their convenience. Phonics based on the Orton-Gillingham sequence will be taught. I am a very patient, creative and upbeat teacher. I want kids to look forward to my lessons and learn as much as possible. At the start of the recording students will review letter sounds as well as previous sounds from previous lessons. I'll share the the focus of the day. We will practice words with the sound(s). I have been trained in the Orton-Gillingham Reading Program. I have worked with students who have Dyslexia and ADHD. I have taught for 14 years in the public school and for 4 years teaching ESL online.
