¡Hola amigos! Welcome to the family Madrigal! In this magical class we will all become family as we travel to Colombia and have fun together! We will even be able to see where Mirabel and her family comes from on a map! Next, will get to know one another by talking about the movie and our favorite Madrigal family member. Together we will discuss the family members special gifts and what gifts make each of us special. We will have a chance to encourage and learn from our new friends about different gifts we may not have realized that we each have. This will lead us to designing our very own magical doors! (Printable is available after registration.) While students are working on their special doors they will get to hear the story of Encanto and also sing along or dance to a song from the movie. At the end of class students will be able to share their enchanted doors they have made and tell everyone about them! My classes are fun, high energy, engaging and low pressure. Students are always welcome to participate as much or as little as they like. I strive to keep the classroom a positive environment for everyone involved.

Welcome!
When students are interested in what they are doing, learning they will WANT to learn! I hope that your students will love to learn and become lifelong learners. I want all children to feel comfortable, engaged, encouraged and have fun in my classes I have worked with students from ages 0-14 for over 20 years. I have held several other jobs than teaching which I adored but at this point this is my passion.
My teaching experience comes from multiple sources. Online I have taught thousands of children overseas to learn English through VIPKid. VIPKid (now VIPTeacher) is known for their vigorous standards and training. I have also taught for an elite online program, called Synthesis. Synthesis is an elite program created by the one of the founders of Ad Astra. (Ad Astra is the school that Elon Musk created at SpaceX.) I have also taught thousands of children right here on Outschool since 2020.
Offline teaching experience comes from teaching at a Montessori pre-school, teaching swim and gym classes, summer camps and Sunday school. I also have taught students with a wide range of mental and physical abilities. All students are welcome in my classes and I am willing to make accommodations if requested.
My education consists of a BA in psychology, a BA in Conflict Resolution, TESL, TEOFL, over 40 online teaching certificates, mental health first aid certification, and palliative care certification.
I have two children who are everything to me. I homeschool them and we love going on adventures together. In my spare time I love travelling, baking, camping, Disney, swimming, the beach, water activities, working out, reading and all things full of sparkle and glitter! You can always find me taking a course or earning some kind of certificate.
