Empowering Youth With (or Without) ADHD: Strategies for Success
Class experience
Being a parent of four kids ages 12, 10, 8, and 5, owning my own business as an ADHD coach, AND being diagnosed myself, I understand the challenges of navigating school and life - especially during these uncertain times! In 2020, I completed my certification program for Coaching Teens & College Students with ADHD from JST Coaching & Training, a leading authority on student coaching and ADHD/EF student coaching worldwide. I will talk (very briefly) about my own struggles and ADHD diagnosis...
In this class, students will learn strategies for ADHD/EF such as self-advocacy, time-management, organization, procrastination, and social skills. Additional learning objectives will include (re)acquiring basic life skills such as regular exercise, how to do laundry, and getting enough sleep. Additionally, digital tools and resources will be suggested to bring awareness to how students can benefit from them to learn more efficiently.
I am an ADHD and Executive Function Coach and work with students, children, teens, and adults with or without ADHD. I help clients identify what is working well in their lives and what areas need strengthening. I support my clients as they identify goals, build action plans and develop systems to move them closer toward their goals.
