Class Experience

Our neurodivergent-affirming tutoring sessions are designed to help dyslexic learners improve their reading skills. Led by a tutor with dyslexia, these sessions offer personalized strategies and practical tools that the tutor uses daily. Our approach ensures learners feel understood and supported as they navigate their reading challenges.

In each session, students will engage in activities that reinforce letter-sound connections using multi-sensory techniques, break down complex words, and practice phonemic awareness. The tutor also demonstrates how to use assistive technologies for reading and writing, providing hands-on support and guidance. We emphasize 1:1 reading practice in a safe environment and offer support with homework help. Our goal is to empower learners with effective strategies, foster their confidence, and enhance their academic success through a supportive and understanding approach.
We meet learners where they're at, customizing each session to their unique needs and pace, ensuring a personalized and effective learning experience.
