My lived experience of being an autistic adult and parent of autistic children gives me a unique understanding of the need for neurodivergent individuals to connect with each other in a safe, supported environment. My expertise in special needs training and qualifications as a psychologist make me a highly qualified candidate for the autistic gaming class. With my training in special education, and lived experience I possess a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by autistic individuals, and other special needs. My experience in both education and psychology also makes me adept at identifying and addressing individualized needs. As a result, I can tailor their teaching approach to best suit the specific requirements of each student in the class.
Please note: It will be necessary for learners to share gamertags (of whatever games we play) with me, and to be my in-game friend for the duration of the class. When sending me your name, please send in a private message, as posting publicly to the classroom violates Outschool policy.
