Class Experience
Empower Girls is an ongoing social club where "tween" girls, between the ages of 10-13 years old, can build confidence through engaging ice breakers, games, journaling, doodles, and more! Believe it or not, I know what it's like being bullied... 8th grade was the hardest year for me growing up, so I know how hard it can be to make new friends and stand confident in your own skin. This social club is here to provide a safe space for learners to discuss issues that may be difficult to share...
This class is taught in English.
Paper, pencil/pen, and either crayons, colored pencils, markers, or all three! This class will involve doodling and some journaling, so it is ideal for learners to have a place to keep their work (journal, binder, folder).
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
