What Will Be Taught: Definition of Emotional Intelligence: Understanding what EI is and why it matters. Difference between EI and IQ. Key Components of EI: Self-Awareness: Recognizing and naming one’s own emotions. Self-Regulation: Managing and controlling one’s emotions in different situations. Empathy: Understanding and relating to others’ feelings. Social Skills: Building and maintaining healthy relationships through effective communication. Motivation: Using emotions to drive oneself toward goals and overcome challenges. Taught using a Socratic teaching style.
