Your imagination is needed! Bring your favorite pillow or rug and set up a place that's just for you for class time. And don't forget your crayons and paper. Make sure your child is in a quiet space where siblings and pets will not be walking through.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
20 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Some emotions may be more accessible than others for students. During the first weeks you will be needed in the room with your child to partner with them. After the first two weeks, parents can step out, but most stay as they love the conversations that the class brings up for their family. You also get to take part in the three minute meditation. It’s amazing what three minutes can do for us in our busy and strange current parenting world! Our children learn through witnessing our emotional availability so it is good that parents join in. If students have experienced early childhood trauma, please be in touch so that I know.
