This emerging readers class is for students learning to read. Learners will learn to read in small groups to practice phonemic awareness skills. This is a cooperative reading group with no more than 4 students to ensure each learner gets a good amount of reading time with support. During each meeting learners will take turns reading out loud entertaining stories with phonic repetition and rhythmic text. Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
