Description
Class Experience
In this ongoing class, students can drop in and out of the lesson as much as they want to. The idea of the class is that students learn a variety of embroidery stitches and socialise with peers and by the end of the year they will have created a stitched journal of memories for 2023! -At the start of each lesson I will teach the students a new embroidery stitch and then we will discuss what memories we might stitch for that week. Students can stitch outside of lessons to complete each month if they wish!
1 file available upon enrollmentYou will need to follow this youtube tutorial to mark out your fabric for 12 months or you can do your stitching randomly across the fabric in the hoop - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yy4PTUFHgI When you turn up for a lesson you should have your fabric ready in a hoop -marked into 12 sections. A more detailed list will be added to the classroom with linked examples: 12in Embroidery Hoop Cotton fabric 15" by 15" Fabric pen or Friction pen Section of embroidery thread/floss Embroidery scissors Embroidery needle - thick enough eye to thread floss through and sharp end.
