Welcome spring! In this class, students will learn how to embroider flowers onto any article of clothing that they choose. This class is designed for beginners.

This is a one-time class made to teach you the basics of embroidering flowers on your clothing! This class is intended for students with little to no experience with embroidery. The only tools you will need is a needle, friendship bracelet string/thread and an article of clothing you want to embroider! I can't wait to meet you and teach you the joy of embroidery!

Supply List
Needle (can be a sewing needle, the eye must be big enough to fit your string/thread through), friendship bracelet string/thread, and an article of clothing to be embroidered. Regular sewing thread is also okay to use but the designs will be a little less prominent.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

I live in Brooklyn, NY, and I am a middle school Spanish teacher. I have over 4 years of experience teaching grades 5-12. I have two Bachelor's degree in Spanish and Film/Video from Penn State and a Master's degree in Teaching from Clarkson University. I have many favorite subjects and hobbies such as crocheting, crafting, playing piano, playing guitar and, of course, learning languages (Spanish, Portuguese and American Sign Language).
