Through engaging activities, discussions, and practical exercises, this course will address various aspects of typical daily stress and anxiety, including causes, symptoms, and impact on daily life. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of their emotions and develop personalized coping mechanisms to effectively manage every day stress and worry. They will develop skills to re-frame anxious thoughts and beliefs, fostering a greater sense of control over their minds. *Effective Problem-Solving: Participants will learn practical problem-solving skills to address challenges and setbacks effectively. By breaking down problems into manageable steps and brainstorming solutions, they will build confidence in their ability to overcome obstacles. *Building Resilience: The course will emphasize the importance of resilience and self-compassion in navigating life's ups and downs. Children will explore ways to bounce back from setbacks, cultivate a growth mindset, and practice self-care habits that promote overall well-being. *Support Networks: Participants will learn the value of seeking support from trusted adults, friends, and family members. They will explore strategies for effectively communicating their feelings and needs, as well as ways to establish healthy boundaries in relationships. After several weeks of this course, participants will emerge with a personalized anxiety management toolkit, equipped with practical skills and strategies to navigate life's challenges with resilience, confidence, and a sense of inner calm. Through fostering a supportive community and nurturing individual growth, this course empowers children to thrive emotionally and mentally during their adolescent years and beyond.
