Class Experience

Imagine leaving your home and traveling to a strange new land. In this course, you'll explore the history of US immigration, from the perspective of the immigrants themselves. 

You will experience the stories of immigrants, you'll hear the stories of immigrants traveling on steamships to Ellis Island. You'll hear the stories of modern day refugees who are processed overseas and fly here on commercial flights. Students will hear the stories of immigrants in their own words. They’ll hear from...

Students will learn the history of US immigration, from the perspective of the immigrants.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
