Ella Enchanted - A Fantasy Novel Study in Finding Self-Empowerment
In this six-session course, students will read Ella Enchanted and participate in discussions about fairy tales, fantasies, and adventures while learning about female empowerment through an untraditional fairy tale story!

Class Experience

- Identify Elements of FantasyI have taught many book studies in my professional career. I am currently running multiple novel studies on Outschool that have been met with great success and interest. I love taking part in discussions and ensuring that the students' needs and interests are met as they read. Ella Enchanted is one of my favorite novels in one of my favorite book series of all time. I hope to share my love of this series with students!
Students will be asked to read the novel outside of class and to work through activities that we do not complete in class.
Students will need to purchase their own novels for the course. All other handouts and activities will be provided by the teacher!
1 hour 20 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
