I am a certified teacher in the State of Florida, licensed to teach Special Education, K-12 and Elementary Education, K-6. I also have a Master of Education in Learning and Technology and a Master of Arts Degree in English Language Learning (for teaching English to speakers of other languages). I have additional credentials in reading. I am also an ADHD, Autism mom.
Fidgets are welcome. Students may eat during sessions. Students may want to bring a notebook and writing implement to class. It is best to hold sessions on a device that has a keyboard for typing and a mouse or touchpad (laptop).

Parents are welcome to sit with the child during the tutoring session but it is not required. Parents may need to support their children if homework is assigned. Children with autism or other communication disorders may include their parent in the session.
I will be using the Florida State Standards for guidance on content area standards. These can be found here: https://www.cpalms.org/Public/search/Standard Other sources are listed below that may be used ONLY during the session online and DO NOT require student or parent to sign in or have their own account. I do not use any sources that students use independently outside of Outschool sessions. I only use these sources during class sessions and ONLY THROUGH SCREEN SHARE.
