What parents are saying ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Mr. Scott's class was one of the best investments for my teen! Phenomenal teaching style and great presence. His delivery was clear and engaging. The concepts really stuck with my student. They will definitely take more classes in the fall to reinforce what was learned. Thank you for inspiring and connecting these real words concepts to young minds. Keep up your great work and efforts!" Bren, parent review. Does your teen love money? Do you want them to become a high earning, revenue generating, elite money creation master? If so, you're in the right place to improve their chances of making that happen. 💵 Calling all young money enthusiasts! The Elite Money Mastermind is a one-of-a-kind weekly group for kids passionate about personal finance, investing, and business. Designed for ambitious young minds who want to take control of their financial future, this mastermind dives into real-world topics like budgeting, saving, the stock market, starting a business, and building wealth. Each week we'll have a mastermind discussion that consists of: 1) Sharing out our personal interests and projects 2) Discussing suggestions and ideas 3) Learning new skills and concepts 4) Networking with other like minded students. Some of the topics we'll cover include are below. Student interest will drive the week to week discussion: Budgeting Basics 💰 Saving and Emergency Funds 🐷 Earning Money and Side Hustles 💼 Understanding Credit and Debt 💳 The Power of Compound Interest 📈 Investing in Stocks 📊 How Mutual Funds and ETFs Work 🗂️ Retirement Planning (401(k)s and IRAs) 🏖️ Taxes: What You Need to Know 🧾 Understanding Opportunity Cost 🤔 How to Start a Small Business 🚀 Sales Skills for Beginners 💡 Marketing 101: How to Promote Your Ideas 📢 Setting Financial Goals 🎯 Building and Maintaining Credit Scores ⭐ Tracking Expenses and Financial Habits 📋 Customer Service Basics 🤝 What Are Dividends? 💵 Creating a Business Plan 📜 Good vs. Bad Debt 🛠️ Note on content 📝 This class teaches financial skills that are broadly applicable in various regions of the globe, where individuals have access to retail and commercial banking services and market or mixed economies. While an attempt will be made to explain ideas so all students can understand, hyper local examples and command based systems fall outside these financial skills. The course has an implicit bias that wealth accumulation is societally acceptable and for those enrolled an objective as it pertains to their personal finances. Specifically, this class recognizes the ability to lend money at interest as a core concept within the financial world. It represents the importance of individuals being able to accumulate private property to pursue financial independence. Class Policies 📚 Classes are taught as a combination lecture and discussion, encouraging student participation. Note on content: This class is taught from the fundamental perspective that making money is a positive thing, and it is derived ultimately from helping people solve complex problems. The content believes that generally open markets are good for this process, and overall this leads to positive social benefits all around. Late arrivals will be admitted at the discretion of Mr. Scott.
