Elephants are the world's largest land mammals. They are massive! But, what is the difference between the different types of elephants that we love and know today? Elephants are curious creatures - social, loyal and tough. Some have small ears some have large tusks. What are the similarities and differences between the animals? What do they eat? What kind of habitat do they call home? Learn lots of awesome facts about these majestic, gigantic creatures while also going back in time to see their amazing distant relatives - the mastodon and the wooly mammoth. Join me as we learn key facts and discuss all about these wonderful creatures, linking science with vocabulary and discussion. We will also learn how climate change and human impact on the environment has also affected populations of elephants - are they in danger?
