"Elephant Traits, Elephant Toothpaste: Animal & Science Fun (Ages 3-6)"
In this one-time class, we will be talking about how elephants’ physical traits help them as well as make “elephant toothpaste” in a fun hands-on experiment using household ingredients.

Description
Class Experience
Students will learn which physical traits elephants use to adapt to their environment.
No homework will be assigned for this class.
Items needed for the science experiment include: plastic water bottle, 1T liquid dish soap, 1/2 cup of hydrogen peroxide, 1 package of dry yeast, warm water, food coloring of your choice (optional), clear cake pan, measuring cups and spoons, mini whisk or spoon
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Learning will be assessed through class discussion and identification of physical traits.
30 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
