Depending on their experience level, they are welcome to read parts of the story out loud or just listen. After the story, we will draw an elephant and piggie themed picture that goes along with the story topic while we talk about our favorite parts. Supply List
Please bring a white sheet of paper (or sketchbook), a pencil, and coloring supplies to each class. It is not neccessary to own the books but if you have the current weekly book, you are welcome to bring it to follow along.

I am excited to offer different types of classes including... but not limited to:
Pre-K/Kindergarten skills (ages 4-6), Sight Words Classes (ages 4-7), First Grade Phonics, Writing Sentences, English as a Second Language (ESL) **Private Tutoring & Group Conversational English practice, & Story Time/Art (elementary).
My Background:
I obtained a Bachelor of Science in 2012 from Barton College in North Carolina. I am a licensed teacher in the areas of Elementary Education K-5, Middle Grades Mathematics 6-9, and Special Education K-12. I also hold a TESOL (Teaching English to speakers of other languages) certificate. I have 7 years of public school teaching experience. Currently, I am a Work-At-Home mom of two kids. I have been teaching online for the past 3 years, so I understand the importance of making students feel welcome and included in this setting.
My Philosophy:
I believe all children are capable of being successful, regardless of their backgrounds. I believe that every child has different strengths and can use their strengths to overcome their weaker areas. I also think that the more fun a child has, the more they will want to learn.

-I have a husband, a daughter, and a son. Both of my children enjoy taking classes on Outschool.
-I have 3 dogs and 1 cat.
-I enjoy running, baking, and finding new restaurants/places to visit.
