Week 1: Color, Value, Shape and Form Color is one of the most dominant elements. We will discuss what creates color, color mixing as well as Value. We will also work through both geometric and organic shapes and discuss how they are used within artwork, how they work together to create a complete piece of art. We will also cover form: 3 dimensional shapes that provide space and volume within the artwork. Artwork of the week: Shape birds (Inspired by Pete Cromer) Week 2: Space, Line and Texture Space is used within artwork to create depth, line is used to define space and connect objects, and texture describes the feel of an object.
