Each week students will learn about one of these elements and look at famous artwork and artists that incorporate these elements. Students will be asked about what they see in the artwork and have a discussion about what they think the topic of the week means and how they would use it in their art. Next, students will make art of their own based on the element of that...
Students will improve their understanding of the seven elements of art, line, color, value, shape, form, space, and texture. Students will continue to develop skills in artistic expression and artistic decision making.
The two things I love most in life is art and teaching! I have a degree in art education and have lots of experience working with young students. I think that basic understanding of art techniques and theories are important things that students should learn to not only further their art skills but also to see the beauty in the world around them!
Students may need time outside of class to finish their artwork.
