By practicing writing comprehensive and well-structured sentences with an outline, students will be prepared to start essay writing following this course.

Paper and something to write with should be brought to class to write the independent topic sentence. A Google Slides presentation will be shared on the teacher's screen. The Wheel of Topics will be shared on the teacher's screen. The student will not click links, access outside sites, or need logins for any program.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
informal by the creation of a topic sentence in class and participation in discussion and class activities
