Each week, learners can come to this space to become familiar with different essay types, discuss using an outline, and work on an essay (CEFR: B2-C2). #academic

Beginner Level
Learners will know four major types of essays: narrative, explanatory, persuasive, research
Learners will understand and be able to write the different parts of an essay
Learners will be empowered to write about their interests
Learners will understand and use an outline
Learners will understand and participate in the writing process: brainstorm/outline, draft, revise, edit, turn in
Learners will gain confidence in sharing work with their peers as part of the writing process
Learners will gain confidence in their ability to write
Learners will gain independence in their writing assignments

Please be prepared to write in class with a writing utensil as well as paper. Digital tools can be used. There is a PDF template of the outline used in class attached to the welcome message received on enrollment.

No account is required to access Google Docs or Google Slides.
