"Elementary Writing 1-On-1 Tutoring" is a class for a single student to meet with the teacher to improve their writing skills. The topics and skills worked on in class will vary and will be based on parent requests or goals discussed beforehand. Some options include but are not limited to: - Bring a story or writing piece to class that the student has written or is working on. Discuss ways to improve the story or finish it. If your student is enrolled in one of my other writing classes, they can bring the story they wrote or began in class and we will work together to improve it or finish it. - Work together to complete a school writing assignment. - Learn about and practice a specific writing skill or topic (using stronger vocabulary, how to use the writing process, parts of speech, writing a persuasive essay, writing in third person point of view, etc.). - Complete weekly writing projects assigned by the teacher (can be in class, outside of class, or both). *Please contact the teacher before enrolling to discuss the topics and skills you would like your student to practice and learn.*
