Together we will study Music Theory and Appreciation as well as Voice / Vocal Training!
Class experience
US Grade 1 - 4
During our Music Appreciation, we will learn about a different composer or musical instrument each week. During Music Theory will will learn about the different symbols on the Grand Scale and begin learning how to read music. And the best part - vocal training! We'll start with warmups and learn pieces of a song each week, building our repertoire.
We will keep the structure and mood light and fun! There will be plenty of interaction, picking songs and singing together. I was a music, theatre, and dance major in college. I have been teaching music, dance, and culinary arts since I was a teen. I've also been a homeschool Mom and tutor for ten years! As a performer, I've sung in front of thousands, and have also performed in more intimate settings. I even had a recording contract and my own tv show in New York City! I currently enjoy calmer days, singing and playing guitar with my church and our homeschool co-ops.
