Class Experience

US Grade 1 - 3
The brain is an amazing organ that functions so well it hardly gets recognition. This interactive one time science lesson will give the brain some of the attention it deserves. We will use six colors of play doh to represent the six areas of the brain. We will discuss the functions of each area (frontal, parietal, temporal, occipital, cerebellum and the brain stem). Although we will discuss each area and their function, the brain model will not be perfectly proportional. This is an introduction to the brain area processes and our focus will be in that area.

Other Details

Supply List
Six different colors of play doh and a tray for the working area. You might also want to include paper towels since play doh can be a bit messy.
