Each week in this seven week course, we will explore a new science topic! The first week will consist of discussing the scientific method which will be used in various experiments and activities throughout the course. We will discuss animals and their habitats, the life cycle and parts of a plant, the solar system and space, experiment with sink or float objects, identify colors and color mixing, observe the weather, and learn about volcanoes & dinosaurs! Printable handouts, supplies for crafts and experiments.
Kahoots!, handouts, and Google slides will be used as assessments.
No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Students will be asked to access Kahoots!, Nearpods, Google slides, and/or YouTube throughout this course to engage in all the material.
