Class Experience
US Grade 3 - 7
During this 40 minute session, students should be prepared to work on the selected topic. They should come to class with something to write with and something to write on. When signing up students please indicate what area you would like to focus on: math, reading, writing, spelling and the grade level of your child. If you have more specific requests such as "sentence structure", "silent e", "learning multiples of 9" please indicate that when signing up for the course so that materials can be prepared and we can use the time most efficiently. The class will start with a discussion and a formative pre-assessment in the area selected by parents. Next, there will be a lesson taught to re-teach the material. Students will then practice the skill with guided practice. Finally, students will be sent off for independent practice.
