My instruction is focused on building stamina in reading and writing to produce critical thinkers and life-long learners. I use the following strategies:

2. Design result-driven writing instruction
3. Provide instruction in basic reading strategies using reciprocal teaching practice that includes predicting, visualizing, questioning, clarifying, and summarizing.
4. Challenge students to provide specific evidence to support their answers.
