I have assessed students from levels Kindergarten through 5th grade for 21 years and have been successful with using the testing results to drive my guided reading classes. My detailed assessment observations have helped increase the students' reading levels to bring them up to and often past the expected level for their age group. I regularly write detailed assessment results and observations for school child study teams to assist in giving a full picture of a child's abilities.
If this is a reevaluation, a follow-up parent questionnaire will be sent upon enrollment.
A detailed report will be sent within 48 hours of the assessment completion. The assessment will contain information on the following areas: -Word knowledge -Phonemic Awareness -Phonics -Reading Strategies -Fluency -Comprehension
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
