Class Experience

US Grade Kindergarten - 4
Our first session includes math assessments with a certified elementary teacher that is trained in AVMR assessments. Your child will complete assessments in Number words and Numerals, Structuring Numbers, Addition and Subtraction, Forward Number Sequence, and Backwards Number Sequence. We can also complete additional assessments for Place Value and Multiplication and Division concepts (older students).
An individualized tutoring plan can then be formed based on results to fill these essential skills in your child's learning. Reports are sent to parents after the session.
Future sessions will follow the tutoring plan and can also include grade level concepts, homework help, and enrichment.

I will take time to get to know your child and include his/her interests and learning style into our sessions.

Parents may also ask about combining math and reading tutoring into one session.

Please reach out for additional days and times that do not appear on the scheduling page. These are available upon request!
Learning Goals
Students will improve math skills to become a stronger mathematician!

Specific goals are targeted based on your child's assessments and individualized needs.
